• DPPO (Preferred Provider Option):  This option provides a broader selection of in-network dentists at affordable prices and usually has more available dentists and appointments than other plan types.

• DHMO (Dental Health Maintenance Organization): This plan requires selecting a primary dentist from the network and obtaining specialist referrals. It often has fewer dentists available and may take longer to see a dentist.

• Indemnity Plans: Some medical plans offer dental benefits. Typically, fewer dentists accept these plans, and appointments may take longer.
